ONW 1 in 2000
I made a interview video about Becca Roberts and how she is a trained archer. This project taught me a lot about the program we lose and stuff I need to know to make it sufficient. I learned that audio is the main thing that impacts every aspect of a video and that I need to focus on editing audio more than anything else. I got a bunch of tricks like how to set gains or make it a lot of softer and smooth. I set my camera to a high audio because I only knew how to make audio softer. This project taught me ends and outs of Adobe Premiere.
Making the video
It wasn't super hard to make the video because editing was mainly where I spent my time. But i wrote out a 21 question script so I could get clips and connect to my interview. I also made an audio voiceover so I could outline the story and get people more facts and so they know more of a summary and this was the key element to making it a conversational voiceover and grasp my listeners attention. I enjoyed making the video but for the edits I learned how to add gains to soft audio and lower high audio. This audio was my key success and I look forward to more attempts in future.
Improvements
I had many peers in my class that listened to my video and looked for ways I could improve this video and they told me it was a great video and that my audio and speaking was very impressive but no video is perfect so I focused on things I can improve. I will focus on improving my flow of the video so that it makes my voice flow better into the clips. Also my clips needed to be introduced better. I am glad that I got this experience to learn off of what I did and that my peers helped me with it.
Conclusion
My project was a big stepping stone to growing in a life of video and I loved making it because learning and trying new things will make me into a better person. This video had it's difficulties but it helped me know how to get past those and make editing and filming a passion and something I can always get better at.
