This project is my pen and it was our final and we were told to recreate a pen and i tried to make sure that the pen had realistic lighting and that it had a nice curved top so the tip looked real. I had some trouble because my maya crashed and i lost it but i think that i knew what i had done so recreating it was easy and I probably made it better but i think it is very realistic and proportional. The goal of this project was completed because i remade my pen and had it 3D animated and even though i wont go into animation later, i think that being able to see details of things makes me more observant and that is a key part of recreating a object in 3D.
This is my worm project. I named him Thomas cause it felt like a fun name and its a short video so it doesn't really have a story. But i liked this because i think my grass turned out really well and also the puppet pin tool is very cool to work and it might take awhile but also key frames are repeated easily. This was a fun project and though i finished it fast it was very interesting with lots of movement. This also inspired me to go above and beyond and add another worm because then it has a feel that their is multiple worms when its really copy and paste. It is one of my favorites and think it helped me learn animation.
Wine glass project and it was my realistic project and i did this by making a 2d shape and copying it all the way around and it made this glass then i did opposite to put wine in it. This project i focused on a cool lighting and think the shade gives it an awesome feel and it taught me a lot about lighting which is the difference between a not lit and a lit picture and that is a huge impact on the realism and this changes what i think about movies and animated things because you probably don't notice those in movies but they change a 3dish scene to a realistic animated scene.
My final project i will review is this walking animation project and i think its the coolest one i made because i drew a picture and put it into computer and it has a cool feel to it and maybe his walk isnt the best but i worked on it and it got better in future projects but it took me a while to do that background but it was my favorite part because i liked making a creepy graveyard and each tombstone has a creepy feel and the grass and dead making it black white and green. My project made me excel into animation because i understood key frames and i understood that i can make things customized to me and the dirt looks real and having a real background makes the entire scene better and this is why i really like this project and think it was a major impact in my career in animation
